Baked Biscuits with Almond Oil


3 Eggs 4 T Sucanat (Cane Juice Sugar)
4 T almond oil 4 T sweet white wine
1 C whole wheat flour 1 t baking powder
Pinch of sea salt 1 T butter
Nutmeg, freshly grated &nbsp


  1. This light sweet-tooth delicacy goes well with an afternoon coffee, or served with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries.
  2. Preheat oven to 400 deg.
  3. For biscotti: In a large bowl, beat eggs & sugar using a hand mixer. Stir in oil and wine, then sift in flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. Mix until the dough is smooth. Pour the dough into a butter-greased spring-form pan and bake for 35-40 min.
  5. Cool for 5 minutes then slice. For a real treat, sprinkle lightly with freshly grated nutmeg and serve warm.
  6. For Cookies: follow above directions and spoon cookie balls from dough. Bake 35-40 minutes
